HRGDIVINGParticipantGlobal Diving & Salvage, Inc. is the largest diving contractor on the West Coast, based out of Seattle, WA, a leading provider of marine construction and infrastructure support services in the United States, and an internationally recognized casualty responder.
The Asset Coordinator is responsible for the recording and tracking the company inventory and fixed assets. This position is also responsible for generating reports, documentation, preventative maintenance records and for preparing equipment for shipping.
Position Essential Job Functions
Monitor and audit system for tracking assets and
Continue generation of Global asset tracking numbers for inventory purposes
Maintain all GDS asset accounts in NAV Dynamics
Maintain physical and digital archive(s) of equipment files with pertinent equipment information such as work orders, purchase receipts, repair records, certifications, photographs, etc.
Generate forms to suit the asset department’s needs such as: preventative maintenance, equipment operation and mobilization/demobilization guidelines
Monitor regional storage facilities
Maintain and operate Preventative Maintenance System Microsoft Excel Jet Report for regions
Track PMS generated work orders for ADC and IMCA compliant standards of upkeep
Set up work orders, installments for reoccurrence, select proper task instructions, and close out work orders in NAV
Selection and brokering of third party shipments via ground, air, or water transportation
Selection and assembly of desired equipment
Preparation involved for packaging the equipment for shipping
Completion of compliant certification paperwork for desired equipmentQualifications
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent
AA Degree PreferredExperience Preferred
Experience tracking inventory
Experience with diving systems
Experience in commercial diving or maritime industryKnowledge/Skills
Excellent Microsoft Suite skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Working knowledge of standard construction and diving related practices
Working knowledge of Occupations Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and United States Coast Guard (USCG) commercial diving regulations
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Advanced organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and team skills
Physical / Mental Requirements
Ability to lift 25-50lbs. Must be able to withstand the following for up to 8-12 hours per day in all weather conditions (Sun, Rain, Sleet and Snow): stand, walk, push, pull, squat, crouch, bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, climb stairs and ladders; repetitive reaching, repetitive hand use
Ability to work any day of the week both night and day
Available for after hour emergency response
