One less stolen car to watch for: Last Tuesday, Bill reported his red ’97 Civic hatchback stolen; this weekend, he reports, he found it while “driving around.” It was stolen in the Admiral area and turned up not too far south (46th/Hanford).

  1. When are “Bait cars” going to be set up around here? The
OVERLOOK APTS at 600 Kenyon St. have had plenty of cars stolen from the lot and outside the gate in the past years and nothing is done about it. Security cameras nor security guards are being put in place to prevent the constant casing there. The management won’t do anything about it and the residents are fish in a bucket. There are tons of great locations around West Seattle for bait cars and its well worth it. Whats it going to take for police to get serious about the car theft issue around here. People don’t have money to go buy another car when it gets stolen, and insurance sure as hell isn’t going to comp you for your entire loss.

  3. Try the club. It works. If you have a club on your steering wheel, nobody bothers, unless it is a 2014 top of the line car. Easy fix.
