West Seattle Christmas lights: From Highland Park to High Point

Thanks to Nicole for sharing the photo of bright Christmas lights at 1315 SW Trenton (map) in Highland Park. We’re working tonight to build our traditional annual map of West Seattle’s dazzling decorations, as the peak time for light-viewing approaches. Also in the spotlight: A great collection of photos by High Point resident Wendy Hughes-Jelen, who is again photographing the light-decked porches in HP – you can see more than 50 photos in her album on Facebook; find it here.

If you have a Christmas-lights photo to share – here are all the ways to get it to us. Or, if you’ve seen or heard of cool lights in West Seattle, White Center or South Park, but don’t have a photo, please e-mail us the address (or even add it here as a comment) – editor@westseattleblog.com!

Yay! Last year I’d often drive my son to see one of the featured houses as a treat when I picked him up from daycare. I was hoping the decorations map would happen again this year. Thanks, WSB!

45th and Stevens has quite a display.

Thanks, Gina. Isn’t that the one just past PCC? I picked up some good ones tonight for map additions tomorrow – and a few photos – and checked out some of the faves from years gone by to make sure they’re back. Although I’m sure there are some exceptions, generally by two weeks till Christmas, everyone who’s going all-out with lights has them up …

We got a zip car to see light on Saturday, hope the map is up by then, that would be awesome!

The whole 2700 block of 45th has nice displays, and you can’t miss the big house display when turning west on Stevens between McDonalds and the PCC!

Sorry, comment time is over.
