My car is parked near a tree. I’m wondering if I should move it?

Leave the car there, move the tree.

Seriously, a positive thing about our recent long, long run of dry weather is that the ground is NOT saturated so trees aren’t necessarily in danger of being uprooted from loose soil if strong wind does hit.

I’m thinking more about what is on the deck that could fly off in a big gust of wind. We’ve taken down the umbrella from the glass table, and we’ll put the glass top directly on the deck. We lost one glass table top to the wind a few years ago. Replacing the glass top cost more than the whole set w/ 4 chairs………

There were several large limbs down in the medians along Mt. Baker Blvd. today – watch out when walking under trees in the wind!

The wind is really howling here on the westside of Vashon Island!

Thanks, JayDee. We are in the The Junction right now and it doesn’t look too bad but it’s kind of protected here …

We can hear the gusts from our nice snuggly bed. :) Love this weather! I hope everyone/everyone stays safe……..except for all those leaves on my tree in the backyard. I hope they all fall to the ground!!!

Sorry, comment time is over.
