Tell Seaview residents to be on the lookout for a white male in his early 20s with short dark hair, some scruffy facial hair and wearing a gray fleece or white ski jacket with maroon and black stripes/accents. This morning as I exited my yard into the alley between 46th and 45th, Graham and Raymond, I surprised him as he exited the backyard gate from a house on 45th and Raymond carrying maybe six – eight three-foot metal pipes. I said hello which startled him. He walked about six houses down and entered the yard on the 46th Ave side. Later, I returned home and spoke with my fiancé who said she saw a man — matching my description — at a 1992 maroon Buick Skylark parked on 46th and Raymond change from a white jacket to a gray fleece. Two other neighbors also saw the man exit from that yard with the metal pipes. The cops were called and two officers were dispatched and have been searching the neighborhood.
Jonathan adds that the Buick is reportedly registered to a West Seattle address different from the one where it’s been parked “for almost a week now,” possibly with someone living in it.
