From White Center Now: Opening date set for reborn Tim’s Tavern, midway through ‘transformation’
Meet Matt and Mason. They’re halfway through transforming what was a barbecue joint in downtown White Center into the new incarnation of Tim’s Tavern, the live-music hotspot they operated in North Seattle until a year and a half ago. We talked to them about what they’re planning (following up on the announcement a month ago) for this restaurant/bar/7-nights-a-week music venue. If you haven’t already seen the story on our partner site White Center Now, read it here.

So very cool – great match up and looking forward to it. WC is reviving and it’s fun to watch! Hey, with doggo there, is it going to be fully dog-friendly, or just in back, or not at all?
That, I didn’t ask. Will email them. All ages so far as humans go, except of course right at the bar.
Judging by the expressions, that dog is the one really running things. Nonetheless, welcome Tim’s Tavern. I wish you much success on your endeavor!
Welcome to WC! Looking forward to your opening. I’m excited to hear that Dusty 45s plan to play there. They’re a great band and fun to see live!
Was this the one in the downtown across the street from the beer store that had the outdoor stage? If so that was a cool place and though the BBQ was ok I think I like the idea of a tavern better. Ill have to check this out.
Yes, the site is across 98th from Beer Star.
