Great, make the park nicer for the homeless and drunks. Perfect.

Nobody hangs out in this park, homeless, drunk, or otherwise. It’s the tiny gardenish area seen in the photo. No place to sit or stand, for that matter. But it certainly could use some TLC. We drive by it probably six times a day and I’d go help out myself except that we will be covering events dawn till post-dusk tomorrow – TR

Wow, “A”, what a kick in the teeth to Friends of Morgan Junction Parks, and the Volunteers that will be helping with the clean up.

I thought this was the park next to BPP. No?

No. The story includes the location.

WSB – to clear up the confusion – Morgan Junction Park is indeed the area just north of Beveridge Place Pub. The Friends group tends the whole park; the triangle is just where they will be focusing tomorrow.
Thanks to Barry and everyone who helps, and hope you all come down to the Seal Sitters event at Alki afterwards!

I know that. But there was no cause for confusion – the story very specifically says they are cleaning up the little triangle, which is a block away, that it’s next to Thriftway, and even names the streets. – TR

Saw the Volunteers hard at work there, as I walked by to catch the bus on my way back from Thriftway!
