West Seattle rocks!

not only did we all have a great time ….

You would have thought Mike and Troy.. the owners of Puget Sound Lock and Key… had won the lottery.

The money raised at this event and through the bank account at Wells Fargo will help them reopen…

but the major hug from the community reminded them why they wanted to reopen here.

We can’t thank the many sponsors of the event enough.. or the many WSB forum members who all pitched in to make this event work…

I am sure by Monday we will post a proper list of thank yous…

but right now we are needing a day off after all that fun.

The big question of the evening was…

what are we doing next.

followed by..

who are we doing it for?

we have a couple of ideas in the works.. so feel free to wade in with any ideas you have…

lintle…I’ve been in West Seattle for 33 years, and I remember when the Admiral Pub was not one of the better places to hang out. It’s changed. Eric, the owner. has really made it a nice place. Last night was about community, about doing something for someone who needed help, not about where we were. And it was wonderful that the owner allowed us to use his establishment for those 3 hours free of charge. A lot of us didn’t know each other before last night…and now we do. It was a great time…you should have come. Then, when the next pictures at the next function were published, you WOULD know some there…we’re definitely a fun bunch…try us sometime.

we were still waiting to hear from the Admiral Pub for their contribution last i heard…
