Just in case some folks might have missed this if they didn’t read through the Artisan Bacon RAVE thread…
I’m taking orders for the hand-made, locally sourced bacon until December 3rd. I’ll be going over to the Culinary Communion in Beacon Hill on the evening of December 4th and will coordinate general area “meet-up” deliveries on Friday and Saturday (12/5 & 12/6) in the Admiral, Junction and Morgan areas.
The bacon is being offered for $10 per pound. Payment on delivery is fine. If you’d like to put in an order you can respond by making a comment to this thread or you can private message me, either right here through the WSB system or directly at cjboffoli (at) gmail.com
Just to be clear, I am not a part of the Culinary Communion and I am in no way profiting from this. I just find this bacon enjoyable and am happy to help to share it with my fellow West Seattle Blog readers.
Here are the orders I have on record so far:
bayou (4 pounds), cjboffoli (2 pounds), goodgraces (2 pounds), irukandji ( 2 pounds), jackie (2 pounds), jans (2 pounds), jenv (1 pound), rs (1 pound), sue (2 pounds), tammiws (2 pounds), zenguy (2 pounds)

November 28, 2008 at 10:56 pm #648249SueParticipantI’ve got this vision of cops being called because of Christopher exchanging suspicious wrapped packages for cash on street corners. LOL!
November 28, 2008 at 11:33 pm #648250ZenguyParticipantThat is why I will be wearing a trench coat and sunglasses…lol
November 28, 2008 at 11:37 pm #648251FranciParticipantI’ll take 2 pounds.

November 29, 2008 at 12:00 am #648252cjboffoliParticipantI guess bacon could be construed as a gateway drug to more dangerous foods. :-)
November 29, 2008 at 1:16 am #648253JoBParticipantPlease put me down for 2 pounds as well.. especially if we can have a WSB meet-up at Full tilt to pick up our orders:)

December 1, 2008 at 12:20 pm #648267beaconhillblogMemberAccording to a comment on the Beacon Hill Blog post about this, the bacon is already sold out. (And if not, please tell us, because we want some too!) See http://beaconhill.seattle.wa.us/2008/11/25/half-a-ton-of-world-class-swinery-bacon-cheap/
Or did they get another batch?
December 1, 2008 at 4:06 pm #648268cjboffoliParticipantWill be calling this morning to verify. I’d be astonished if they managed to divest themselves of a half ton of bacon over the holiday.
December 1, 2008 at 6:17 pm #648269JanSParticipantwell, if they did, the disappointment is ours, but…we definitely understand…must be really good stuff..
