While not “quite” West Seattle, many of us do travel to Burien in search of great food and Lucy, of Lucy’s Kitchen, is putting it out there. We ordered the deep fried chicken, which was pieces of chicken tossed in rice flour, fried til crisp with red peppers. It was similar to the Japanese karaage. The plate of green beans were fat and flavorful. The eggplant dish (recommended by Lucy because they remove toxins) was served molten hot in a mini wok.
The mu shu pork was a large portion. I thought it quite good but the sauce to go with it was a light, apricot sauce rather than a dark oyster sauce served elsewhere.
Overall, the quality was very good, cleanliness was perfect, service was great. I highly recommend it.
