A couple drops of bleach should take care of it.
April 1, 2010 at 6:07 pm #691637odrokuParticipantDo you reckon the number of hikes taken in bear country is fairly equal to the number of eggs eaten annually in North America?
April 1, 2010 at 6:18 pm #691638inactiveMemberGoGo @20 –
Yes, go and perhaps look over your shoulder. ;)
And as long as I’ve popped into the thread –
What of cholesterol, people? Hmmm??? Might be missing the big picture issue here?
:p
hehe ;) ;)
April 1, 2010 at 8:03 pm #691639dawsonctParticipantI think the hyper-tension caused by constantly worrying about the food and drink you put in your mouth is more detrimental to your health.

Avoid highly processed, factory farmed food, wash your fruit and veggies, eat plenty of delicious whole grains, eat quite a bit more plant material than animal, drink plenty of beer, wine, and liquor in moderation, stay hydrated, and enjoy!
Mangiare!! Bere!!
April 1, 2010 at 9:29 pm #691640christopherboffoliParticipantdawsonct: Very nicely said!
odroku: Good point. A much higher percentage of the population is exposed to eggs on a daily basis. A fraction of the population will encounter bears. So the risk of being eaten by bears is significantly lower for the majority of the population than their risk of contracting food poisoning from improperly handled eggs.
April 1, 2010 at 9:31 pm #691641furryfacesParticipantHi christopherboffoli: when you have a moment, would you please email us at furryfaces@hotmail.com. Have a little favor to ask…truly, just little one. ^..^
April 1, 2010 at 9:58 pm #691642inactiveMemberI’ve read Food Rules, too, ya’ know, you guys.
I was teasing – making a /jk. Did you not see the winks?
Geesh.
Carry on. <sigh>
April 2, 2010 at 12:23 am #691643JoBParticipantreading this has made me hungry..

April 2, 2010 at 1:07 am #691644odrokuParticipantfail
April 2, 2010 at 2:01 am #691645christopherboffoliParticipantOh, don’t be so hard on yourself odroku. I think if you keep floating those syllogisms you’ll eventually get one that passes muster :-)
April 2, 2010 at 3:14 am #691646odrokuParticipantYeah, keep preening, using your SAT words and talking about imported mayonnaise from Holland. I’m sure someone is impressed.
April 2, 2010 at 5:34 am #691647cjboffoliParticipantThat’s funny odroku….but I don’t remember seeing the word “eventually” on the SATs. But I’ll try to remember to keep things monosyallbic for all of the “professional chefs” in the audience who have never had the pleasure of visiting the Netherlands. ;-)
April 2, 2010 at 5:51 am #691648angelescrestParticipantGoGo,
We like the Aioli at PCC (near the pickles and hummos). Kind of a mayo alternative, and we spread it on sandwishes, plop some in pasta–tastes pretty yummy.
Wild Wood Aioli.
April 2, 2010 at 5:58 am #691649JanSParticipantoh, good lord, use mustard – lol…
April 2, 2010 at 7:51 am #691650dawsonctParticipantI hike alone in bear country, too.
April 2, 2010 at 3:30 pm #691651JoBParticipanti did.
i would if i could still get out there:)))
i thought we were mostly adults here.
April 2, 2010 at 4:54 pm #691652JoBParticipantmy profound apologies to the person who suggested something similar as a joke… i just couldn’t resist… and i am too lazy today to do quality research :)
April 2, 2010 at 5:13 pm #691653GoGoParticipantI’m gonna try that aoili, it sounds like a good alternative. Thanks, Angelescrest!
