I lost my dog last night . Her name is Stela . She’s brown with a bit black in her coat she friendly and she got lost coming home . She can be around South Park .

I fear Stella is found but killed by car at SW Holden and 11th SW☹️ – sweet little dog.
I fear the same, I saw the dog on Holden and 11th and it looks very similar to Stella. I contacted the animal shelter about having it removed from the street; the owner may want to contact them if they want to recover their pets body. I sincerely hope it’s not Stella.
The dog was still there after noon today, so I picked her up and took her to Urban Animal on Roxbury to be scanned for microchip (there was none). I didn’t want her out there any longer, potentially to be picked over by scavenger animals. SAS has been redirected there to pick up, and will do so by end of day. If you would like to see the body to confirm that she’s your dog before she is picked up by Animal Control, you should do that in short order. My condolences if this is your dog. I did confirm she was female. 😔
Thank you for getting her out of the street and to a vet. I am sorry for her owners.
Thanks A&A- I did call the person who posted little Stela- the found pup really looks like her down to the small white on the right front paw- this is the second animal fatality on this stretch of Holden within the last two weeks- likely to not be the last due to the huge increase in traffic we are seeing here from the bridge closure☹️
