UPDATE 11/24: Photo added. “This very friendly cat is still hanging around our block -31st and Cloverdale. No collar, mostly gray, white bib with some cream colored markings on stomach and chin, body is very long and on the skinny side, most likely male.”

I have not been able to get a photo. This gorgeous grey cat with a white bib has been meowing outside my house for two days and nights. I am allergic to cats so haven’t been able to befriend it but it came right up to a neighbor and was very friendly. No collar, alas! Thistle and 31st Ave SW area. What a beautiful cat. Since you’re allergic, do you have anyone close by who could take him/her to a local vet or shelter to be scanned for microchip? I’m currently missing one of my orange tabby cats and am miserable. I’m sure if this guy has an owner, they’re desperately hoping for a phone call saying their babe has been found ❤

  My neighbor took him to the animal shelter today. He was chipped and they were unable to reach his owners. According to the chip info his name is ‘Street’ and he was from somewhere on 47th Ave SW, so he had quite a journey behind him. Hopefully they can either locate the owners or he can find a permanent home through adoption. He’s a super sweet guy.

I took this cat to the Seattle Animal Shelter today. Turns out, he’s six years old and his name is Street. His chip located his owner about two miles northwest of me, across California and 35th Avenue, and the owners phone is no longer in service. Kinda sounds like Street was dumped, for whatever reason. Harsh. He seems like a really good cat; you can find him at the Interbay shelter.
