shed22ParticipantThe one at Circa is not bad.
shed22ParticipantThey will most likely move on on their own. I get them every year but then they just seem to go away. If you are determined to help them move on (to the other side), Gopher Gasser will do the trick. I don’t have the heart for it, nor do I have an enviable garden to protect, so I just let them be.
shed22ParticipantBeen there multiple times, for breakfast and lunch. Large portions, a ton of options, more than reasonably priced. The quality has been consistently good, as has the service. The owner is often there and is very friendly. They are starting to pack the house, at least for weekend breakfast. Give it a go.
shed22ParticipantI am fairly certain the owner of Peel & Press did the construction himself. He seemed to be pretty pleased with his handiwork. Perhaps it is still a work in progress? I suppose it doesn’t really matter what it looks like if you enjoy being outside on a warm, sunny day. Inside the restaurant is dark, regardless of how much sun is shining.
shed22ParticipantWas there for lunch. Beautiful space. Bright and airy. The cocktail I had was good, although a little pricey at $12. The sandwich was also good. Nothing to write home about, but nothing awful. The side of chips were a little bitter from being over-fried. Staff was attentive and very friendly. Interested in trying their “brekkie” sometime soon. Definitely open, though, so give it a go and let us know what you think.
shed22ParticipantNever will I do business with West Seattle Health Club after reading the health club’s official response here. It’s alarming that any business would respond to a customer complaint by complaining about the customer. Instead of being disappointed, you should be ashamed and embarrassed.
shed22ParticipantI love when people expose their own deficiencies, BrassyMomma. Expert in all things everywhere around them and master in NONE. Even I, a casual diner at Meanders, have eaten there more than once since the “walkout”. Not pleasantly, mind you. But evidenced by experience. Where do you work and do you apply the same lack of attention to your professional duties? If so, customers, BEWARE!
shed22ParticipantMore info, please, freecitizen. Who is this “small group of people”? Why would they change the lanes? And what is your evidence that they “back-handedly asked for ‘permission'”?
shed22ParticipantIt was interesting to witness what happens to a business without organization and operational management. What really happened? I’ve read what’s been published, but that doesn’t explain why they didn’t have basic operations. Did the previous management run off with the money still in the cash register and the staff still clutching the last of the tabasco?
shed22ParticipantIt was a crap show today. Hope they can get it together.
shed22ParticipantIf you don’t mind crossing the bridge, Samurai Noodle in the ID is excellent and they validate parking in Uwajimaya. Also, Ma’Ono in the Junction has a couple of ramen options. One version is on their happy hour menu for like $5. At least it was when I was there a few weeks ago.

shed22ParticipantI have no memories of the joint, but does the Corner Pocket count?
shed22ParticipantThank you, Jan. I’ve enjoyed it for many years. Time for different look. :)
shed22ParticipantLooks like the armoire will have a new home. Thanks all.
shed22ParticipantCait, have we texted? I have been in contact with someone who is interested. If that is not you and they are not interested, I will let you know. Text me. That will be the best conduit of communication. Cheers!
shed22ParticipantFree. If you can pick up by Jan 2. Call or text 206 three five six 06 one six.

shed22ParticipantNYC outlawed public smoking in Central Park.
Here is Seattle Park’s Code of Conduct:
“No smoking within 25 feet of other patrons in Seattle parks and play areas, beaches, playgrounds, picnic areas, and buildings (code 3.2.10).”
Probably a tough one to enforce, but there you go.
shed22ParticipantReduced. $150 obo.
shed22ParticipantReduced: $100 obo.
shed22ParticipantT-mobile customer for the last 13 years. Worst coverage imaginable. Cheap. Awful. But cheap. And awful. Never expect a call to keep connected while driving. Expect disruptions and drops. Almost every call. Unreliable. You get what you pay for. No, you get less.
shed22ParticipantToday, 10:30am, on California, across from Hiawatha Playfield, some dude pissing on the front entrance of a business. What gets me, besides the fact that he made no effort to conceal what he was doing, is that there are restrooms right across the street.
shed22ParticipantMe, too! First order. I like the service. The food options are good, the pricing reasonable, and serving size fair. I especially like that they post the nutritional information. The handwritten note and cookie were nice touches. My driver texted 5 minutes before delivery and again when he approached the door.
shed22ParticipantThank you, JanS. I signed up using your link. Do you get an incentive for publicizing the service?
