Brst … Thank you for the info., and your willingness to answer my questions. I have a 5th grader who’s 11, and a 1st grader who’s almost 8. The Super Sonic lacrosse program … Is it a mixture of different kids, or is the focus on a select group of youth? Are the only lacrosse programs in Highline, or does West Seattle offer anything? My kids have never played lacrosse so they would need a program that would be willing and able to start at square one. Again, thank you for your help.
Batwoman, Thank you so much for all the information. I really appreciate it. I will give her a call tomorrow.
Ask you and you shall receive. Yet, another reason I appreciate our WSB. Thank you everyone for letting me know where I can get a “worthy piece” of carrot cake, and for the mouth watering recipe. I look forward to trying my hand at the recipe, and I’ll be taking a couple of culinary field trips to Bakery Nouveau and PCC.February 2, 2013 at 2:38 am in reply to: RANT: Police Ticket Camera at OLG on 35th and Myrtle #775739
Is the warning light on the school zone speed limit sign on 35th Ave. SW & Myrtle (the stretch of road in front of OLG) always flashing?
I’m trying to find a math tutor for my son who is a 5th grader. Can you please give me the phone number or email of your friend? Thank you.September 26, 2012 at 7:50 am in reply to: Don't pick your dogs crap.. get your picture taken! #772061
Thank you Hiawatha for taking action! I need to follow in your footsteps and instead of complain to my husband about it take steps to solve the problem. There’s a man in our neighborhood that takes his small dog for a walk every evening, and sure enough … 4 out of the 7 days I’ll find his dog’s poop. We’ve had one to many occasions where one of my children will step in dog poop and the nightmare begins. Hiawatha … I don’t have a Facebook account so maybe you can start posting pictures of the culprits here directly on the blog. I wonder if that’s acceptable. Technically, people who don’t pick up their dog’s poop who breaking the law.
Anonyme, First and foremost … Wow, that’s so awesome to hear you stopped on your way to work and went to not one, but two clinics. I can’t say enough great thing about Lien Animal Clinic! The people that work there are truly animal angels. I recently had to put my puppy of over 15 years to sleep because she was suffering from kidney failure. The entire staff at Lien showed a level of compassion and care that I will never forget. Just last week I received a condolence card from them. I could go on & on about how Lien Animal Clinic’s staff are exceptional in every way. Thanks Anonyme for giving credit where it’s due … by the way I say rave to you for your thoughtfulness & perseverance in helping the little squirrel.
Thanks so much for the tip on Sears outlet. I didn’t even know there was one in Seattle. We will most certainly be heading over there.
carrieann … I just posted this info., but want to make sure you get it. Before you buy a new mower you might consider calling Jeff Heinig, owner of Champion, Small Engine Repair. He might be able to fix your wheel issue. His number is … 206-335-7912
I 2nd kayo’s recommendation … Jeff Heinig is the Owner of Champion, Small Engine Repair. Great guy, honest, and helpful. He told us it would cost more to repair our lawn mower than to just buy a new one. Again, his number is … 206-335-7912
I just called both places. Adept Pest Solutions can come out today. Rambo Total Pest Control not until tomorrow morning. They are too busy with existing appts. Yikes, what’s up with all these rats?! Thanks again for the quick replies. I really appreciate it and am so grateful for WSB.February 16, 2012 at 5:47 pm in reply to: Where can I buy fresh chicken eggs in West Seattle? #748271
Thank you for all the tips. C&P is the coffee house on California, is that correct? Love it, love it that WS Produce carries fresh local eggs and meats. Wonderful.February 16, 2012 at 2:18 am in reply to: Mon. 2/13, 8pm or so … Police activity around 45th Ave. SW & Lander #748230
JanS, thnaks so much for the info. I came home from a meeting to have my two young boys very excited to tell me about the police cars and someone getting “patted” down. I wanted and needed more information as it was a tad to close to our house for comfort. Thanks again.
