Hi Biscoti: I think it depends on what you’re looking for to be honest. Juniper is a lovely salon. All the ladies who work there are utterly fabulous, but it’s pricey and gets booked pretty quickly, so you’d likely need to book online in advance. I’ve used Perfect Nails on a walk-in basis when I’ve just wanted a no fuss no muss manicure and it’s either hit or miss (but really cheap). My middle of the road is Angel Nails down on Harbor – great prices/service.
Thanks ever so much twistoflime. The owner confirmed that she has been reunited with her keys.
Either works! I emailed Tracy the owner’s number and the owner of the keys’ daughter works at anytime fitness.
Was there a purple key fob attached, a key shaped like a dog and a car key? If so, I’ve just sent the owner a link to this post. The purple key fob means the owner is a member of Anytime Fitness, and they can likely be dropped off there.
That’s actually not the last stop in West Seattle, SW Admiral Way and SW City View is the last stop and it’s more often than not SRO by that time.September 8, 2015 at 2:21 pm in reply to: window washer and gutter cleaning recommendations..please! #827656
We used Men in Kilts, they were great. We have a three=floor house on a hill, with minimal access on one side and they did a great job.
We went last night. Pizza was oh my gosh fantastic. Honestly, I thought it was better than Pizzeria 22, but will have to go back to Pizzeria 22 for a current comparison. Definitely a more comfortable dining space (although it was packed and the wait was quite long, but those waiting (myself included) thought it was worth the wait). The non-pizza dishes (appetizers included) were also raved about. It did seem pricey, but we were a party of six versus our usual party of two.
Another recommendation for Dr. Kae (who accepts Delta Dental). His office staff are out of this world, and his hygienists Lynn and Dawna are awesome.
Did you contact the manager of Neanderthals and Turd Hammer and lodge a complaint before posting to the blog?
Why am I not surprised that there firework related injuries in Lebanon, Me? There’s nothing there but a sky diving business and a bunch of rednecks who go four-wheeling in the snow. They even voted out the county sheriff about two decades ago – morons.
You’re a top one in my book then! Whilst all the family back home cried about losing Stevie, I’m so excited to see him play against the Sounders.
HaHaHaHaHa. HaHaHa. Oh HaHaHa.
Sorry scouser (Hey – are you a Liverpool or an Everton fan?) If I don’t laugh I will cry. Knotweed is a cruel mistress. She’ll likely taking more than simple removal. I’d look into taking the programme via King County so that you can borrow their injector gun: http://www.kingcounty.gov/environment/animalsAndPlants/noxious-weeds/weed-identification/invasive-knotweeds.aspx
We’ve been battling it for several years. Good luck!
I used Al (email@example.com) on a recommendation I found when I searched the forums – he was great!
The D.C. rush hour I could deal with, the West Seattle or Seattle to Tacoma rush hour? Um. No. It makes my bloody boil and sets off road rage feelings I never knew I had.
Greystreet – call the Ballard location. Yes, West Seattle will be a Signature Club.
The original date was supposed to be the end of this month, but it’s been pushed back until June. When I called the Ballard location they gave me the option to sign-up now and be charged when the West Seattle location actually opens, or sign up now/start paying and use any location. I go between Ballard (often two crowded) and Burien (usually not crowded at all).March 9, 2015 at 3:40 pm in reply to: Construction in Admiral District Starting too early, residential area! #822651
Fellow The Fall fans (no spoilers please, I haven’t yet watched the last episode of season 2) – any idea what kind of handbag DSI Stella Gibson is carrying? It’s driving me up the wall and searching on the internet has not turned up anything (other than others trying to figure out the same thing).
We used Men in Kilts: http://meninkilts.com/ and had a wonderful experience. We have a tall house on a hill (with narrow spacing between the house and fence on one side) and they did an excellent job both cleaning our gutters and windows (we even have some windows that have a weird ridge on the outside that they cleaned very well).
