GenHillOne glad you got through I kept getting voice mail! Thank you zerodacus and Saney now I guess I’ll pop over there tomorrow and see if they do waxing.
Anyone going to City People’s check your Chinook book for a coupon good for 15% on your next purchase. (exp. 10/31/2010)
I don’t have chickens and probably have a few coupons to spare if anyone wants them.
Hollyplace Thank you!! I can never seem to remember my blog password. I always have to reset it.
Thank you Thank you Thank you. How would you like me to get them from you?
What a generous offer. I would love to get my hands on a couple of the smaller and one of the larger cookie sheets. Are we talking 1/4 sheets & 1/2 sheets or 1/2 sheet and whole sheet pan sizes? I grew up in a restaurant and have been thinking I needed to find a restaurant supply store to get some good baking sheets. I’m frustrated with what I find at regular stores I’d love to save a trip and a few bucks that could be better spent elsewhere.

I’ve two six year olds (virtual twins). One ‘normally’ developed and one hard of hearing.
For my ‘normal’ child SPS is fine, for my HoH child they sukrox! If your children have no special needs you’ll be fine in the public school system, but Lord help you if you have a child with ANY sort of special need and you Choose to advocate for them rather than blindly follow the advice of the school district.
This complaint is not isolated to me. I’ve a friend with a child who has verbal apraxia (can’t speak) but the school district is refusing to recognize the need to use her communciation device. I HATE HATE HATE the Seattle School district.
My normal child attends public school and I’m sending my special needs child to a very expensive private school to get the basic services that the school district wasn’t providing him for the last two years.
it’s not split but if you want it you can come and get it. Email me at YourEcoSafeHome at yahoo dot com
Thank you for the warning. I’m a couple blocks away but have had my windshield bashed out and my car stolen.
My husband had his stereo stolen so many times years ago that he just quit replacing it.
We now have clubs on all cars and alarms. It does appear they were a little too interested in the contents of the cars.
The purpose/mission of the group is to connect like minded woman and help them achieve thier goals.
The only limitations are one individual for type of business (i.e. one skin care or one pampered chef). We are a new group so we still have many openings.

Gee wiz! I’m shocked at the audacity. This is the kind of entitlement attitude I expect from folks on the East side. I’m sad to hear it’s made it’s way to the community here.
I for one am glad you asked the question. I just always assumed it was private property and would never allow my children to pick from a tree in a planting strip. They’ve asked when we’ve been on walks in the neighborhood. I understand the temptation seeing such gorgeous fruit ready to pick and enjoy but the rudeness of just wiping out a tree is unconsciounable to me.
One word of caution. Choose your bradley instructor carefully. The one we took was quite unprofessional and seemed more intent on spreading her political/parenting philosphies than actually giving us the tools we needed.
We did ultimately have a natural birth but moreso because I had rapid progression and there was no time for drugs than because I actuallly had the tools to deal with the intensity of the pain in the birthing process.
As a parent I’m all for enforcing speed zones around schools. However, I think they need to enforce them around all schools NOT just private schools.
How about planning some fun things at the house. Trying a new recipe together, playing card/board games and/or watching a movie or putting on some music. –Obviously those are for the adults…
For the 2 y/o-some new playdough or better yet Make some playdough (lots of recipes online) and depending on what the child is into either a few new cars, or one of those giant coloring books (w/o pictures) etc.
Please do not subject your palate to the Charlestowns idea of CFS. Don’t get me wrong I like it there but their CFS taste like liver! Absolutely the worst CFS ever!
Now I’m a native Texan and I like my CFS it’s the first thing I get when I go back for a visit.
So while I realize this is going to sound bizarre the best CFS I’ve had in the area is from IHOP. Yes you read that right. International House of Pancakes (down by the airport) is where I go when I need a CFS fix. I appreciate that their gravy is “true” country gravy. i.e. Not sausage gravy as is commonly used outside of TX.
Sausage gravy is for biscuits, country gravy is for chicken fried steak.
I don’t want the tunnel either. I used to commute to Greenlake before I started my home based biz and it’s a real pain in the a$$ to have traffic backed up the length of the viaduct because of an accident in the tunnel!
Something I haven’t heard any of the politicians address with regards to their support of a tunnel.
Holy Crap! As a former professional nanny I want to hang out there and rip this nanny a new one if I witness it.
PLEASE people we do not have the luxury of ASSuming the kids will be alright. If you witness something like this call 911. They are the first response and will get CPS involved.
She should freaking be charged with child endangerment!!!
I have been to China and also recommend Lee’s Asian. Also would caution you to ALWAYS check the health department website before going to a new restaurant. It can save you in more ways than one!
