I guess you can blame me for my post, I just thought this sentence:
“Supporters: please email me. Haters: don’t bother as I will simply send you to junk.”
deserved to be called out. My thought was why post if you don’t want an open discussion.August 26, 2014 at 7:15 pm in reply to: Are barking dogs a problem for you in your neighborhood? #812595
So you do not want a discussion about it, just a bunch of people agreeing with you? It probably depends on your exact block, I have seen other posts that have addressed this, with some helpful solutions.
I looked into disputing my property value this year, they want you to use comparable sales. So if 3 or 4 houses in your area were sold for more than you tax valuation notice, then it becomes difficult to argue against their valuation. However, this still does not take into consideration any functional obsolescence to your property. I didn’t do much research past them stating I had to use comparable sales to argue property values.
I don’t understand the mentality either of taking what is not yours. When my wife and I walk are dog we love to look at the flowers that people have planted, its a joy. The other day even as were admiring someone’s dahlia’s they gave us 5 or 6, which I thought was very cool. I get asking to take a few but harvesting them like they are yours is wrong.
I agree, it is horrible and was not pleased with my mom’s decision to do it to her cats >.< When my cat was young and clawing everything we tried those softclaw things that are kind of like acrylic nails, well they looked adorable on her(black and white kitty, with pink nails)but she hated them, so we don’t even do that now, just clip em once in awhile. Plus furniture, and items you can replace, not so much with your cats claws!August 29, 2013 at 9:00 pm in reply to: $5,000 reward offered after dog thrown from Viaduct #796744
I think I saw at the Meinke (sp?) in WC it for like 19.99. I have no idea if they are good. But 28.95 is a good price
After a hiatus from the forums during the weekend, I am surprised to find the thread go the way it has. Yes there are plenty of “real world” issues to discuss but I don’t think the internet is the place to discuss those things. Nothing will be done in Syria because we are posting on the internet about it. NOTHING. I posted this originally for the same reason people rant about this business or that. Does it matter to the whole world? no, but it matters to some and I wanted to see other people’s thoughts on the casting of him. And honestly while I don’t like the casting I wasn’t going to go to the theater and watch the movie even if it was the best casting in the world.
I also have tickets, but since you brought up the Hawks v Oakland. There is a guy, DJ Hayden, cornerback, that I am hoping to see. For those that don’t know, he had an artery severed in November of last year and is now playing again. It’s a great story of determination
@ Stina, I think that would be regardless of carrier, because of the aforementioned hills and valleys. The signals from cell towers go straight so in Seattle in general where there are a lot of hills you will find lots of dead spots. I live in Sunrise heights so i guess i have a pretty clear shot from the cell tower close to my house.
my wife gets great coverage on her new S4, even inside the house! I’ll have to do a speed test later, i’ll let you know up and down speeds
Probably a simple cost/benefit analysis in their minds. The cost of the ticket is outweighed by the benefit of the time they save. I agree with you however, I dislike like it when people drive in the lane and hope they get tickets. I think it makes me more mad when someone merges after the white line to get onto I-5 north.
that stinks! good luck finding a place! Does Hiawatha still do stuff after school?
good doggie, but yeah it sounds suspicious to me, and better to be overly suspicious than to be robbed or worse, imo
I’ll tell you a place to avoid, Honda of Bellevue. Not only did they use all the high-pressure sales tactics, which I expect but don’t like, before they transferred the title of my trade-in car they got a ticket in Everett, this ticket then went to collections, as I moved shortly after I bought a car from Honda of Bellevue. Then I had to clean it up this year. Please avoid them at all costs.
I carpool with my wife everyday to work, yay for us. But that doesn’t mean if I don’t carpool I am self-righteous. OP is making broad generalizations and that’s really the problem with this topic. No info how to carpool, just ranting about people who don’t. Also even if you carpool, how is that going to reduce your trip across the WS Bridge…oh it’s not.
anyone know when the WS bridge was built, i hear its a similar type of bridge
