Hey Mr Swagger – Do you plan on keeping your streak alive once you hit 52 weeks? You always bring a smile to our faces when we see you on the weekends. You’re a West Seattle legend!
The 10-minute thing is just an average too. I waited 18 minutes between two C buses this morning at your exact spot. And of course it was full. Then the next one came one minute later. Stupid.
As for crowdedness. You should have seen it 3-4 years ago. Oh the glory days.
I have my motorcycle insurance through Safeco. Have never had to file a claim (knock on wood), but everything else has been smooth. And their motorcycle rates were about half the price of Geico for the exact same policy.
The guy who found the dog took to Animal Hospital and was reunited with owner. Yay!
Privacy concerns set aside, there’s no way in hell they would get those GPS trackers to work properly. We know who we’re dealing with here.
Cool, thanks mehud7! We figure she is someone’s cat in the neighborhood bc she’s so clean and looks well-taken care of, and isn’t shy to approach :)
I’ve never used them before, but I know that Men In Kilts does this type of stuff. Plus, how often do you get dudes in kilts cleaning off your driveway?
I’ve also seen Ken’s Yard Service pressure washing a neighbor’s sidewalk too. But, again, I’ve never used them myself.
Hi tricky — Didn’t see your suggestion before I made the previous post. Thanks! I’ll keep that in mind for sure
Hi neighbors —
The Nintendo DS Lite has sold.
The Wii Fit is still available. Feel free to respond here or message me at the above email adderss if you’re interested.
Hi Parentof2 — You can email me at snakesladders AT gmail DOT com
Thanks! My main specific need is anything that can survive a nuclear blast or my lack of green thumb
Thanks jwws! I’ve been curious about the same thing and have now bookmarked NW Botanicals. Are their prices reasonable?
The passive-aggressive WiFi network names always give me a good chuckle, and I figure Seattle would be a great place for them…
Article I read this morning:
Correct, last weekend was a soft opening for friends. They are opening to the public this Thursday 12/19. They are initially planning to be open Thursdays through Saturdays from 4pm to 10pm. I think they are starting out with 8-9 beers on tap, and planning to expand to 16-18, from what I’ve heard. Can’t wait to check them out. I’ve only had their ESB at Shadowland, and they are super close to me *thumbs up*
Also could be the transformer within the unit… those are pretty expensive to repair, so if that’s the case may just be easier to replace the whole thing
It could be several possibilities causing this, but it sounds like it could be a shorted or bad door switch.
Does it actually heat anything with the door closed but not running? You can test by putting a glass of water in there and shut the door. If it does, that will help a repairman diagnose.
If it’s a good microwave and you like the way it works/heats, then it may be worth it to repair (and if that method is cheaper than new). But if you don’t like the microwave to begin with, just look at it as an opportunity to treat yourself to a new one ;)
This might be a long shot, and I know different jobs have different pricing… But from experience, can anyone give a general idea of how much per hour Mr. Sparky charges for a general house call? I’ve called twice outside of business hours and have reached what seems to be their national call center, and can’t get answers or callbacks.
Just curious, thanks.
