The cart was yellow and blue. Almost half and half. I left for a couple of hours after posting this and now the cart is gone too. They were parked over between the new construction site behind (City Watch Apartments)and I think it’s a masonry building of some sort(next to the old dealership parking lot). So anyway, they were parked on 40th just south of Alaska.

The update just posted regarding the police presence. They were looking for someone who is believed to be suicidal :( I hope that person receives the help they need. How sad.

Well, they’re gone now. Hopefully the police found who they were looking for. It was a nice break from writing my research paper!

I appreciate all of your comments and advice. You all put so much thought into your comments and I am very grateful for such insight to Pathfinder. My daughter will be attending there this year and I am very excited about it. Sounds like the teachers are very nurturing and create a friendly learning environment that encourages the child’s own creativity. After reading all of your comments, I am reassured that my husband and I have made the right choice. I could not thank you enough for all that you guys have said. It really eases my worries! Thank you!!

mine always goes up, seems like there is almost always a mistake (on their part). Of course it isn’t refunded unless I complain. Seriously thinking about switching back to Comcast..

UGH who is the lesser of the two evils? Can’t stand either of them.

#6 is a bit vague for me to answer completely. I think it depends on why they’re in there in the first place. Good luck on your research paper!

Speaking of trees….what type of trees are in Lincoln Park? The trees that have a deep red/orange/brown trunk and branches? Just curious, they are beautiful!

thanks Linda! I did not know that and you were correct to assume that that was why I was confused. Also my memory failed me and I thought that the parade was during the street fair, but obviously it’s not (there are booths set up lol).

thank you very much, both of you, for all of the great information and advice. wsmama3 I look forward to learning more about the K5 Stem! And Skeeter, I would love to know where you find information like that? What website would you go to to find information about different schools and ratings and such? Thank you in advance :)

Wow, that is absolutely terrible. How incredibly embarassing for that woman. I know a lot of women, when they have to go they have to go now. And I’ve seen those signs posted all over the place “Restrooms for customers only” that is just ridiculous. I absolutely would not patronize any business that was so heartless.

and to top it off….(we just got back) the seats were absolutely incredible. 3rd base line and 13 rows up, seriously the best seats I’ve ever sat in. Wow, we were blown away. So thank you so much for your kindness, I surely hope I run into you again at the Y so I can shake your hand and tell you that my family and I had such a wonderful time at the game and we are so incredibly grateful. I can’t thank you enough.

I would highly recommend CityWatch Apartments, wonderful staff, great apartments, affordable rents, and you can’t beat the location (walking distance to California Ave and grocery stores). I wouldn’t know if they have any vacancies but I do know that they are very pet friendly (just incase you decide to get a pet). Definitely worth checking out.

after reading all of these posts, it got me thinking…who knows what the kids were doing right there at the fence? They could’ve been talking to the 8yr old boy that this man had with him. Maybe the man was giving his 8yr old boy some candy and thought it’d be rude not to offer to his friends at the fence, not really thinking about possible allergies or how some parents may see this as creepy. We really need to teach our kids how to protect themselves, how to know when something is not right and what to do in certain situations.

Oh I see now how that would be easier, I even struggle with pushing the door open while on a hill, they can be pretty heavy!

@ Kootchman in regards to your comment

“Not so… it may be legal. Handicap restrictions for some, means they can’t push the weight of the door against a steep hill incline. They can park on the opposite side of the hill to accomadate their handicap.”

I had a thought….if they parked on the opposite side of the hill because they couldn’t push the weight of the door open, wouldn’t they have to push it closed?

(maybe I read it wrong, I haven’t had my coffee yet)
