Wood soffit repair

I have a missing/rotted rafter tail and small area of wood soffit that needs to be repaired/replaced. Someone recommended AmyWorks, but they charge $100 just to come out. Does anyone know of a reliable handyperson who could do this kind of work inexpensively? I’m not cheap, just poor.

i will admit to being cheap.. after all, this is a rental and i am picking up the tab for squirrel damage
