    A great go-to for spices is Penzey’s Spices downtown. They do catalog orders too, and I’m pretty sure they have za’atar. Their spices are fresh and wonderful. I buy a LOT from them. :)

    Oh, and ocean, that was not an attempt to up sell you, but I make and sell za’atar. I’m in West Seattle and folks often stop by my house to pick up spices, thereby saving shipping costs. There’s a link to my online shop in that FB post, if you’re interested. And if you’re in Arbor Heights, I’ll deliver while I’m on a dog walk.

    I think the person at Trader Joes that told you they didn’t have it was misinformed. I purchased some there last Friday! It is in the refrigerated area right next to the hummus.
