West Seattle family seeking nanny

We are a West Seattle family looking for an experienced and energetic nanny for 2 boys who will be almost 6 years and 21 months when the position starts in early January 2016 (with potential to start earlier).

Our ideal candidate will have experience with both ages, a genuine interest in Early Childhood Development, the energy to be active outdoors and play imaginative games, a love for reading aloud, and the organization to support our busy family of four.

This is a Mon.-Thurs. position – your Fridays would be off for your own pursuits!

Our toddler will need care throughout the day. Our 5-year-old attends kindergarten from 8:30 – 3:00 and will require pickup from school and care until 5:15 p.m. Your own vehicle is required, as is a clean driving record. Non-smokers only, please.

We are currently looking for someone to see us through summer 2016 until our toddler is ready to start preschool in mid-September.

We would prefer someone who could help out with light housekeeping and meal prep. Please also be comfortable with pets – we have a large but mellow Black Lab.
