The American Cancer Society Discovery Shop in West Seattle, a volunteer run, quality resale shop, seeks a paid Assistant Manager. Among other duties, this position will: schedule volunteer shifts, recruit and train new volunteers, implement marketing and promotional calendar, manage overall appearance of Shop and represent the Discovery Shop in the community. Prior retail experience is a plus (including cashiering, opening and closing drawers/cash counts). Experience as a volunteer or working with volunteers is desired. You must be available 20 hours per week and willing to work evenings/weekends (must be available to cover Sunday shift). We offer rewarding work in a fast-paced, retail environment at a competitive hourly rate.
