ktrappParticipantI didn’t see anything in the blog, but for the last week or two, it looks as if the West Seattle Brewery Co. has been closed. There has been a hand written note to that effect, and now there looks to be a notice from either the city or county posted in one of the windows. As I only see it while driving by, I never get the chance to see what it’s all about.

ktrappParticipantAh, thanks for the quick satisfaction to my curiosity! And yes, that seems like a rather bad miss on their part. Hopefully they get that taken care of soon!

WSBKeymasterThey were closed for that reason on June 22nd. I have not been able to find my contact information for the owner and have not been able to find time to call the Public Health Department to ask for more elaboration. Almost always, when the Public Health Dept. closes somebody, it’s open again fast (I embarrassingly published a closure notice about the KFC some weeks back without discovering it had reopened even before KCPH had announced the shortlived closure), so I’ve been somewhat gunshy about reporting based on the notices, but this is four weeks now … TR

Beer drinkers need their watering holes to be reliable and open frequently to support their lust for fermented malt beverages.
