Wanted, OLD Singer Sewing Machine w/cabinet

Does anyone out there have an Old Singer Sewing Machine they would like to sell. You know the kind that stores in itself with the little top that folds out to sew on ? I want the Old style as I’m going to use it as a display, so it’s not important that it works. Would like the cabinet or table that it is in to be in fair to good condition with all it’s drawers.

Check out the West Seattle Antique Mall. They are a pretty good place to go. Or try the Pacific (?) Antiques on Lander between 1st and 4th in the Sodo/ They have 2-3 floors and a large warehouse.

I saw a number of the old fashioned singer machine/table combos on Craigslist not long ago when I was searching for a used modern machine. Seemed like the only type available were the antique ones.

Those are both good tips, I saw several on Craigs list but I was hoping to find one in W.Sea. Seems every family has one and they don’t know what to do with it. I don’t want to have to pay much and it seems Antique shops seem to want $200 or more. I know I’ll find one eventually. Thanks !
