My girlfriend and I are on a quest to find a two-bedroom 800+ sq ft home in Seattle.

Since we have friends and relatives in West Seattle, we’re looking at homes there.

The house needs to include a small home office space and a 4,500+ sq. ft. lot with ample southern exposure to grow vegetable gardens.

We prefer our house to be

• 800 – 1200 finished sq. ft.

• Within ½ mile to busline

• Within 1 mile to grocery (preferably a regional or independent store)

• Walking/biking distance to pubs/restaurants

Other nice features

• Basement

• Open floor plan

• 5,500 sq ft lot or larger

• Garage or other outbuilding

• Trees on periphery (especially northern)

• Close to library (within 1 mi)

• Access to I-5/I-90

We are pre-approved for a 6.1% loan from our credit union. If you own your home, we are open to creative financing options, including owner financing / seller financing. We can make up to a 20% cash down payment.

No condos, no town homes – no shared walls. No developers. We’d prefer to buy a For Sale By Owner Home direct from the seller.

there is two houses for sale down here on 21 ave sw. One is FSBO and one is thru Windermere Reality. Both are about 620sq upsatairs but have full basements. Might be too small for you. But all the lots are about 4500-5000. The FSBO house has a garage.
