I was so disappointed to go to the walker rock garden on a romantic walk, to discover it closed last Sunday.

Then I read about the sale last year.

Does anyone know if it is ever open? I can find no info online beyond the sale. thanks!

Good question. I’d love to know, too. Anyone know?

It never did sell. The agent and family will no longer reply to queries about its status. It did not even open on Mother’s Day as per longtime tradition (we tried calling and also drove by almost every hour on the hour), nor has it been open to anyone’s knowledge (we have asked nearby residents to keep an eye out) for many months – TR

    Puppyluck,

Go on the WS Garden Tour tomorrow instead! Just finished a preview of the gardens and there are many that will delight you!

Puppyluck – I echo JWWS’s suggestion, since WSB is a sponsor of the West Seattle Garden Tour – which benefits nonprofits. But to your question: No, unfortunately. There are some terrific photo galleries online but right now, so far as we have found, that’s the closest you can get. – TR

just enter ‘walker rock garden seattle’ into a search engine and you will get a lot more hits and pics. If you enter the address (5407 37th Ave SW Seattle 98126) into Google maps, you can get an idea of its size and layout (seems like a normal backyard, size-wise.)
