The Senior Center of West Seattle is seeking volunteers to assist in our Tech Support Program. In one-on-one, hour-long appointments, we assist seniors using their tech devices—usually smart phones, tablets, or computers. Our support covers a wide range of topics, including email, video calls, streaming media, password management, device settings, social media, file organization, and cloud storage. Volunteer shifts are 2 or 3 hours long on Thursdays and Fridays. Volunteers should be reasonably familiar with at least two of the following operating systems: Android, iOS, iPadOS, MacOS, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10. We do prefer volunteers that can commit to at least 3 months of volunteer service.
