Ugh. Mice in my crawl space!

They just moved in to the crawl space under my house day before yesterday and my cat and I are freaking out! I need to have the crawl space vapor barrier replaced anyway. Can I do pest control and crawl space renovation at the same time? And who do you recommend to do the service? I did a search and but there are no recent recs.

Thanks. If you need me, I’ll be standing on the furniture!

You should do it at the same time. There’s only one guy to call, and that’s John at Adept Pest. If you were able to search the Forums (I don’t think that’s possible any more) you’d find that John is the most highly recommended pest guy on the WSB. He uses a common sense IPM approach rather than selling expensive poison control programs. He’s also very affordable.

Another one for John at Adept Pest. Just had him out earlier this summer. Abatement, prevention, and crawl space clean up, including vapor barrier replacement. He sealed off entry areas, set traps, and monitored them until there were no more rats. Then he came in to complete the crawl space work. All very affordable and effective.
