What were you thinking…leaving him in a filthy crate, with a blanket and ripped open bag of crappy dry food on Harbor Avenue? Are you really that heartless? If you couldn’t keep him any longer you should have taken him to Seattle Animal Shelter…instead of leaving him outside, in a crate, in the wet and cold. A not so nice person could have taken him.
Luckily your ex-cat is safe and sound now. He recieved a vacccine, flea treatment and will be combo tested and neutered tomorrow. If you think about it, maybe you could stop by Kitty Harbor and donate some money through the mail slot to help cover the expenses of getting him ready to be adopted.
If anyone is interested in adopting this cat, please call Delyn @ 935-1955. He is about 9 months old, long haired and just gorgeous.
So glad the cat is safe! At least he sounds highly adoptable. Wonder if the owner even tried to find shelter before leaving him at the mercy of the elements and anyone who happened upon him? Unfortunately the law doesn’t see it as abandonment unless the animal is left without care for 24 hours. Something that no compassionate, caring person would ever let an animal endure.
