I am looking for a wall that I can practice tennis on in West Seattle. School yard? preferably fenced. Do you know of any? I am in the Junction.

    Hey AnneT –

Are you familiar with the Lincoln Annex Courts? They are across the street from the north end of Lincoln Park on Fauntleroy. This is just across the street from the gas station on the triangle. Nice “backboards”, as I call ’em :). These courts are lit well into the evening, too!!!

On the general tennis topic-anyone else see that great men’s final at Wimbledon yesterday? I tore myself away to bolt to the Farmer’s Market once I knew it was going at least 4 sets–made it back to see the 4th set tiebreak and the 5th set. Good gravy, was that a great match!! Inspired me to go for a whopper of a run yesterday afternoon (for which I am now paying dearly in the form of major sore muscles and general gimpiness!)

Peaches – That was a fantastic match, I agree!

My guy wanted Federrer and I wanted Nadal.

Now I realize I should have bet him something!
