Starbucks Posting of Hours

Many of us work wierd hours with really early wake-up times. We are also suceptable to coffee addiction. There is nothing more agravating than waking up just a little but earlier to grab that cup of coffee and finding the coffee shop closed without a hint of opening hours posted.

I have asked the staff at both the Adimiral & Juntion Starbucks & the reply has been a shrug & “it’s corporate”.

I feel stupid telling Starbucks this: Coffee. It’s a morning thing! Are you still in the morning business?!!! I can’t think of a dumber business strategy as ticking off your loyal customers by not posting hours in a visible location. Get a clue!

you have internet access, you couldn’t google your answer? West Seattle Starbucks Hours… bam! Saves you a trip to a place that may be closed when you want your coffee. Or even easier, make your own coffee at home!

Admiral Safeway Starbucks 5:30a-8pm
Alaska Junction (4233 SW Alaska) 5:30a-8:30pm
Fauntleroy Way 4am-8:00pm

NOPE. Not open at 4:30 anymore. If you believe everything on Google, you’re in for a rude surprise. It’s one thing when you roll up at 7 am and they open thirty minutes later. It’s another to roll up at 4:30 to find it closed. Even a delivery van driver was confused.

Seriously; what business or Starbucks for that matter, doesn’t post thier hours? I travel for a living around the world. West Seattle is THE ONLY PLACE they don’t post hours?! C’mon. We’re not that exclusive.

It does seem weird, just as a general practice, for a business to not post their hours at their physical location. Not everybody has the internet in their pocket at the moment when they’re standing outside a closed door wondering when it’s going to open.

You know what I have come to notice is that the Starbuck kiosks in the grocery stores make a much better coffee drink than the Corporate Starbuck stores do, but they do not open until 530am and I am already at work at that time! :>)

The Admiral Starbucks posts its hours on the bulletin board inside the store, which doesn’t make much sense.

Junction Starbucks too. It’s one thing if they’ve been around forever and haven’t changed their hours in ages, but it’s another when they seem to change them every few months. There are very few things you shouldn’t mess with and messing with people’s wake-up time before the workday is pretty high on the list.

Just gonna throw this out there since I don’t see that anyone else has suggested it. Have you thought about frequenting ANOTHER coffee establishment that does accommodate your early morning coffee desires? There are sooooooooooo many other coffee places in West Seattle, do any of them post their hours and possibly open early enough for your schedule?

I do :-) Unfortunately none are open before work/rush hour other than the drive-up.
