Southwestern educational materials

Just curious if anyone else was solicited by Southwestern (http://www.swlearning.com/aboutus.html). I was, by a young man who said he was an intern with them, from UCLA, and was trying to sell me on educational materials. I don’t have any particular complaint but found it a bit odd that he was sharing the ages of all my neighbors’ kids with me. He had an official looking name badge and took great pains to show it to me. I am at 15th and Trenton.
