Some place to get motorcycle jacket zipper replaced

I bought a textile motorcycle jacket last year, and a couple weeks ago the zipper broke.

Is there a place in W.S. to get zippers replaced?

I was told Checkmate would do it, but when I went in there, he said the machine was down.

Have you tried the shoe repair shop on the corner of Fauntleroy and 37th Street? The proprietor is very friendly and eager to help.

He appears to do more than just shoe repair – as he has a sign saying he replaces watch batteries.

.

He did an outstanding job of dying a pair of shoes for my wife, at a very reasonable price.

.

The shop appears to have one or more heavy duty sewing machines which leads me to believe he may do garment repair.

.

At the very least, I should write a RAVE about him as I will be taking all of my shoe repair work to his shop in the future.

Regarding the shoe repair guy on fauntleroy… he did a great job on my shoes. the soles had delaminated and the other shoe repair guy in admiral had glued them and they kept falling apart anyway. The guy on fauntleroy actually sewed them back on. i will be stopping by to see if he does zipper repair as well.

Not West Seattle but they do great work. I used their services when I road raced and the work was exemplary. When having safety gear repaired experience is important so it holds up when you need it. The price was reasonable also.
