shoes for kids needed

I came across info. That the YMCA is having a shoe drive for needy kids. I would assume shoes that are not trashed looking, but gently worn. The drop off is on Cherry downtown. If you can organize a flyer at a school or with neighbors, I would like to rally support for this cause. I will come back and post link so you know this is legitimate. I am willing to have a drop off place arranged or pick them up (in bulk-rather than 1 pair @ a time. Thank you! Colleen.

Hi, HH, we have a lot of heart around here and other places West Seattleites gather – we have covered the results of people’s giving spirit, time and time again. Perhaps people are waiting for the link. You don’t have to use code, just paste it here with the full web address (http whatever whatever) … but also keep in mind there are many West Seattle-based drives under way too. (Tonight, for example, bowling at Roxbury Lanes to raise money for Family Promise of Seattle, which helps keep homeless families together till they can get on their feet … they had to close till they could raise enough to reopen …
