High Point Community Center, located in West Seattle, is seeking a qualified individual who enjoys working with young children. Beginning in January, the community center will be offering recreation programs for children ages 5 and under.
The programs for this age group are just getting underway and have previously been successful. This position has the potential to grow. Classes are approximately 1 to 3 hours and are held Monday through Friday. Hours will depend on enrollment in courses. Classes have already been programmed for January through March; the successful candidate will be able to offer classes of their own choice in Spring.
A complete schedule of the courses programmed, along with descriptions, can be found on our Facebook Page – West Seattle Community Centers – under the notes tab.
Please submit a cover letter and resume including salary requirements and references to Rebecca.Hall@Seattle.Gov.
The individual filling this position would be an employee of the Associated Recreation Council (ARC). ARC is a non-profit organization that works solely with Seattle Parks and Recreation to offer recreation programming in the community.
