joyadelossachasParticipanthi there.
i am a west seattle resident and also work here on the peninsula. i have a dog and have had cats and an iguana before as well. depending on your needs in terms of length of your time away from your beloved zoo, i may be able to help you. i have references and love animals, walk with my dog every day and am very well attuned to being on a schedule that makes animal feeding times and needs a priority.
let me know if you’d like to talk.

BooParticipantHello,
I am delighted to find your ad. I have been house/pet sitting for twenty years, however, due to families moving and the end of the rainbow for my last few customers I took time off. I now am craving the excitement of meeting new families; which includes all fur, fins, hoofs, paws, wings and even little crawly things!
I have resided in WS for 30 years. Our house is currently home to three dogs – no higher then my knees, two cats – one who has neighborhood notoriety, whose name is “Hudson” a very large, furry, black, and white markings like a cow. And our fourth orange cat whose name is “Oscar.”
I have never advertised, I have always been contacted by people who know my customers. If your animals sleep with you, then they will sleep with me. I do overnight, as that ensures the best comfort for the pets, and added security for your home. I have done it all.
I have excellent references. I also cared for forty birds at once, and have owned a parakeet(who spoke 24 words) and two Cocketiels, one lived for 24 years. I hope to hear from ALL of you. DuskMarch 19, 2019 at 12:52 am #944219

BooParticipantHello, since I have not heard from you and your ad is still posted, perhaps you could give an idea when you might be acting on this. Thank you.

PNW_ZooParticipantHello all. Thank you kindly for your interest and response. We are still actively looking and all of your profiles are amazing. Because our zoo is slightly complex with birds, a cat, and a rescue dog, we are looking for someone that is willing and able to stay in our home and on overnights. If that is still a fit, please let me know

BooParticipantHello, in my 20 years of house/pet sitting I have only done over night. As stated before, I have plenty of experience with birds and every creature from fish to horses. Currently the two Yorkies we have are rescues, also the other 24 we have owned over 30 years. Rescues are unique with each one having different issues and special needs due to the unpleasant life they were raised and exposed to. It’s a package deal and there is always unexpected behavior challenges, one must know and be prepared when making the decision to bring home a rescue. Patience and acceptance are a must bringing a rescue to your home. We have had the most joy and happiness watching them change when they finally believe they are safe and this is home, where there is no shortage of love from my roommate and me. They are worth the extra effort and care, and deserve to have a ‘normal dog’ life. Please ask any questions you may need answered
Thank you, I hope to hear from you, DuskMarch 25, 2019 at 9:29 am #944803
