I purchased a antique Hudson’s Bay Blanket on eBay and the ends of the blanket are raveling a bit (known when I purchased it).

Can anyone in WSB recommend a seamstress (male or female…the masculine word does not exist) who could darn the ends or add a suitable fabric envelope to limit additional raveling? I tried searching the forums to no avail. Thanks.

There is a simple solution – a blanket stitch for that very purpose. It’s a truly easy stitch.Really. An evening in front of the telly and you’re done.

My fingers are the size of breakfast link sausages and about as dexterous. I’d much rather pay someone who knew what they were doing than screw it up myself. It is a really nice blanket and I’d rather the repair not detract from it.

    Thanks for encouragement.
