RAVE—-South Delridge Neighbors!!

Was just walking back, down 17th, from Lee’s Produce, with a load a bit heavier than normal for me from Lee’s, and probably more in the range, weight-wise, of my typical Thriftway, or Target purchase. So, was stopping and resting a bit more frequently than usual for the average Lee’s trip.

A little north of Cambridge St, a couple of Women that had been behind me, passed at one of my rest points.

They then paused, and the one Woman asked if I needed help carrying the bags. Of course, the answer was a happy, and grateful, “YES!”. She grabbed all three bags, even though I was about to pick up one of them.

The Woman with her, who apparently was the S. Delridge Neighbor, was walking with a cane, as I do when out and about so she, especially gets the whole “…one hand to carry one’s bags” thing.

We went the rest of that typical double block, where we parted ways. They probably saved me at least three minutes, as I was able to walk that entire way without stopping.

So, yet again, proof that no matter the Neighborhood, ALL of West Seattle RAWKS!
