RAVE: Seattle Video Transfer

Ok so they’re not in West Seattle specifically but are in the Seattle area.

I found Seattle Video Transfer, located in North Seattle to transfer all 24 of my Hi-8 home videos!! Ryan was very professional and easy to work with from estimate to finish. I was able to drop off my videos at his studio so that I wouldn’t have to ship them and best of all they didn’t go to a far away place. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly it went and now I have all my old tapes on DVDs and MPEG-2 videos that I can edit to my hearts content! My mom has been bugging me for years to do this, but the mail away service Costco uses always gave me pause, what if they were lost or damaged? They could never be replaced.

I’m currently skimming through my videos, my childhood, my parents early in their marriage, my grandma and uncle who are no longer with us. It’s all so bittersweet and it was more than worth the price to have them done right. And just in time for Mother’s Day!
