Thanks to the people that cared enough to ask if I was OK after some A-Hole pushed me and kicked my dog (in front of my daughter as she got off her school bus)for getting to close to him/sniffing himas he walked by. Thanks to the lady who actually stopped and gave me her phone #. Sorry if I was rude. I was a bit rattled. SPD???? We waited on the corner for 45 min. Never came. Never called to follow up. Very dissappointed.

I’m so sorry this happended to you and your dog and that SPD then poured salt in that fresh wound by failing to respond.

A few months ago (I can’t find the original post) someone posted about a guy in the junction who started freaking out and punched their dog because it sniffed at him. I wonder if this is the same unstable sociopath.

    Really sucks – I’m sorry

Just FYI, I don’t know what time this happened but because of the incident that brought the helicopters over here to lurk yesterday, *every police officer in the area* was tied up with that at one point for a while, looking for a guy who was wanted for possible kidnap and assault and was possibly armed. Also, in the afternoon, since the flasher turned up twice on Tuesday, yesterday that was a mid-afternoon priority. I don’t know their policy on calling to say “sorry, we can’t send someone” and I’m not trying to be an apologist, but did want to throw out some possible context for the no-show. If you are able to file a report now, it would still be a good thing to have on record.

I totally get that there were more pressing issues (that I was unaware of at the time). I guess it would have been nice if the operator even just said since there’s no injuries go to my local precinct and fill out a report and leave witness info and someone would follow up if needed. I know I’ve been in situations where I kicked myself afterwards and thought I should’ve said……..

I had to explain to our 7yro daughter why the police didn’t come. She was more beside herself than I was. Thankfully we are OK, they have the call on record, if it happens again or if I see this yahoo I’d be happy to identify him. I hope no one else is on the receiving end of this guy.
