Today I took two antique Japanese woodblock prints to NW Art & Frame for conservation mounting and framing. I was helped by Katie, who could not have been more patient. The choices were difficult; the prints are small night scenes, 100 years old, and it took a lot of expertise to get just the right combination of color and style to set them off perfectly. In the end, Katie came up with a beautiful combination for these tiny treasures. Oh, and she was conscientious of my budget restrictions as well.
I’m so grateful that we have pretty much the best of everything right here in West Seattle.
