WSMomParticipantOkay, so I’ve been happily posting on the WSB and listening to some awesome tunes on Pandora Radio. You get to create your own radio station just by putting in the name of your favorite band. I’m loving my new “Death Cab For Cutie” station. No commercials either.

JanSParticipantWS Mom…I’ve been listening to Pandora Radio for aobut a year now…it’s great…and once you’ve created a whole bunch of stations, you can do a mix…great when there’s company, and you don’t want to screw with the music…..

squareeyesParticipantI’ve been listening to Pandora at work for several months. I have the radio station that I created named “Mostly Old” (currently playing John Mayall), but occasionally check out some of their preexisting stations. No commercials, and they stop the music every three hours or so to make sure I’m still listening. Certainly beats the other online options I no longer listen to!

Bikefor1MemberWhatever happened with the legislation that was going to make Web Based Music stations pay more in Royalties? It threatened to close sites like Pandora. I thought it passed, yet Pandora is still on.
(I’m a Pandora fan too)

flowerpetalMemberI love Pandora therefor I love WSB! Thanks WSmom for turning me on to this two weeks ago. I’ve already set up a few stations. My Iris Dement station for country/gospel/rock. My Rufus Wainright-Neil Finn station for heartful melodic guy singers who know how to write music. And my Suzanne Cianni station for that unmistakable new agey piano sound.
I’d love to hear what stations others have created.

JanSParticipantOh..I have Sting…and Billie Holiday…and Nina Simone….and The Frames…and Frank Sinatra…and…a few others. It’s nice to go into “mix” mode at times…you get a bit of everything you like…perfect for parties…
