If folks have no plans for tonight and they are fans of Modern Gypsy Jazz, they might want to check out Billet-Deux.

I saw them a couple of years ago at the Django Festival on Whidbey. They were good then, but their recent CD is REALLY good – if you like Django Rhinehart, Stephan Grappeli, etc., you will be very, very impressed by this ensemble.

Editing to correct sound link. Hang on.

Ok. It won’t reduce….but here it is:

Well, that didn’t work either. If you want a sound link, you’re kind of on your own I guess. Go to the http://www.billet-deux.com site, click on CD and then the album cover at the top. The entire cd is available in full to listen to.

$10 at the door. Show starts at 8:00 pm.

    Admiral Theater – Enjoy!

Wow, that sounds great! We named our dog Django because we love his music so much. Can’t make it this evening, but thanks for the info.

and tonight at the Admiral, it’s the School of Rock kids with Monkees music – we did a little story with video of one of ’em showing off his guitar skills with an instrumental version of “Pleasant Valley Sunday”:

    “Hey Hey We’re The Monkees!

    People say we monkey around….”

We shall NEVER forget! Let us all light a match and raise it to the heavens!

School of Rock is such a good thing.

And, so is the “new” Admiral Theater.
