Rant – potholes on West Seattle roads

i have a feeling that california will be slated for an entire re-do. something is causing the surface to buckle and pull some of the substrate out with it.

probably the salt/brine/snow/ice freeze/thaw thingy. not to mention the ground beneath being saturated for months on end.

…Of course, every time they repave an arterial, they promptly begin digging grave plots in it.

Actually, I have all the potholes mentioned here (and a few others) memorized. It’s easy to spot the people who don’t. They are the ones driving in their own lanes, right into the abyss.

So I am sitting here at Les Schwab waiting for them to put 4 new tires on my car after they found bulges in the sidewalls of all 4! They are apparently seeing a lot of this due to folks hitting potholes. The guy suggested bringing it up with the City tho I’m not sure what good that would do. The City is just doing their part to stimulate the economy by inceasing tire sales…
