Walked in Saturday to ship a package and got treated like a jerk. I’ll save you all the long boring details. As far as I can tell, the USPS is in the predicament it’s in because of a lack of customer service capabilities in its brick-and-mortars. I’ve never had a problem with mail carriers – its the desk staff at this location as well as others that needs a real reboot. I’m shipping UPS whenever possible. I cannot trust valuable stuff to such an indifferent and mediocre agency.

Never had a problem with service at West Seattle Postal Station but over the years I have witnessed several ugly incidents of shockingly rude customers who were cursing at and threatening the postal employees there after they didn’t get their way over some petty issue or unreasonable demand.
