I’ve been to coleman and southwest.

And in both Pools I’ve seen little kids take a number two in the pool, only to have the pool staff scoop it out with a net and tell everyone to get back in…

Is there a pool where small children and minors a like are not allowed in, whatsoever?

LOL…if you find such a pool, I’d love to know about it! The only place I can imagine not letting children in for play time is the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way (at least the competition pool). Their water temp is too chilly for playing around in, but the diving well is another story.

I’ve swam my entire life and have never given much thought to someone pooping in a pool. I just think back to Caddyshack when everyone panicked over the candy bar in the pool and laugh it off. It’s gross, but chlorine will take care of it. I’ve swam in a lot worse lakes or over-chlorinated pools that will probably give me lung cancer to literally not be bothered by crap.

I hear the YMCA downtown has very few kids due its location and the fact there are few kids living downtown. Most go to the Madison Y pool or West Seattle.

There are adults-only swim periods six days a week at Southwest, though it won’t be open again till approximately November 1st.

Growing up in Florida – we were taught the old saying: “I don’t swim in your toilet, so please don’t pee in my pool”!
