AnonymousInactiveZenguy – I don’t see where people are treated like dirt on Flipping Out. Jeff is definitely anal retentive and a little neurotic. He probably suffers from a little OCD, but I think that goes along with why he is so good at what he does.
His loyal employees (Jenny and Zoila) are treated very well. The people that take advantage of him or lie to him, he doesn’t treat very well. But, you probably wouldn’t either.
Didn’t mean to hyjack the thread, just wanted to stick up for my show!! Lol.

HPMemberI am all about supporting Blayne and want him to win, I had to laugh though when my ten year old daughter saw his outfit and said “diaper boy thats his new name I am calling him diaper boy that outfit is not cute” I hesitated to share this because I do not want to be attacked so I want to say it again because of his west seattle ties I absolutly am pulling for Blayne and want him to go all the way and I dont ever fully judge off of a 1st challenge thats like the get your feet wet challenge and I feel sorry for the one who goes home on the first week, we never get to see more than one of their creations. Any how GO BLAYNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ellenaterMemberOK, that diaper boy think is hilarious…
I think PR is a little better than average reality TV (Survivor, American Idol, etc.) I used to like Deign Star but that show sucks now. maybe it always did and it took two seasons for me to figure it out!
Blayne is only 23. I think it helps to remember that. I hope he makes it this week. Stella seems like a one note so she will probably go next!!!

JoBParticipantbarb..
i just like to support local talent.. it makes kids imaginations soar when local talent does good… if the guy in the coffee shop can do it.. maybe they can.

SueParticipantI was reading this message board where they mentioned Blayne, and somebody from somewhere in Seattle said they’d love to go meet him at Hotwire, but he’s in West Seattle and that’s in the “boonies.” LOL!
July 22, 2008 at 11:44 pm #631750
JoBParticipantlet’s hear it for the boonies ;)

GenHillOneParticipant“leatha” face – it was classic :)

MissKMemberOk Blayne is growing on me. He wasn’t so bad this episode. His dress was better than his last creation. I do find him funny and the “leatha” teasing was HIGHlarious. Hopefully he can make it to Bryant Park or make it for a few more episodes :-)

ellenaterMemberi was bummed they didn’t show more Blayne this episode. :( Stella kills me every episode. This week’s just seemed kinda blah. Also, Nina G. is getting on my nerves. She has the personality of a recently extinguished blow torch.
July 25, 2008 at 12:49 am #631755
charlabobParticipantI heard a rumor that Nina isn’t traveling with the show to the Lifetime channel — that would be fine with me.
Blayne is definitely growing on me — I’m just afraid he’s a bit too Christian-like to win.
When are they going to find a designer who makes hip clothes for women of a certain age and size who don’t think we’re quite dead yet????
July 25, 2008 at 3:38 am #631756
westwoodmomMemberOk, how long before the PR episodes go up on Youtube? (last week’s is) I didn’t get to the party this week and don’t have Bravo, anyone know where else I can catch it?
July 25, 2008 at 3:50 am #631757
MissKMemberOn You Tube subscribe to neolimmik83 this person uploads episodes right away. I too am in you shoes westwoodmom. I watch via You Tube.
The person who bugs the crap out of me is the Leatha lady. UGH get over it and design out of your comfort zone.

ellenaterMember“When are they going to find a designer who makes hip clothes for women of a certain age and size who don’t think we’re quite dead yet????”
amen to that!!!!
Yay, Nina is leaving! Woohooo. Nina is eviiiiiiiiiiiiil.
Jennifer bugs me a little. She is very goody goody in an annoying way. Leatha lady seems like she did WAY too much partaking in the 60’s.
July 25, 2008 at 5:21 am #631759
westwoodmomMemberThanks, MissK, watching now! Amen to Leatha, please, the challenge is about designing for your customer.
July 25, 2008 at 3:19 pm #631760
JoBParticipantshe got lucky.. her customer liked the new look…
on that show you can bite the dust designing for the customer when what the customer wants is something you don’t do well..

ellenaterMemberYa like the women who had lost weight last year and the the wedding/model challenge. That was hilarious!
