Very professional sounding female just left VM from a number showing up from Kirkland. She promised that my tax debt (I have none) could be forced into a settlement and it could reduce or eliminate my tax debt. She also mentioned she was not sure how long this will last, so I should call soon.

You don’t get 3 or 4 of these a day and just ignore them? I receive more of these scams than I do real calls. Pretty easy to spot.

Your comment and tone is not helpful to anyone and is somewhat condescending. No, I do not get 3 or 4 of these a day. I don’t even get one a year. You are also assuming I answered the phone. You do you.

Sorry kroberts, how do you hear tone in the written word? You are a very lucky person to only get one call like this per year. My comment was not meant to be condescending at all. I am just frustrated that calls like this for me never end and now they start earlier in the day (7:00 am) and go later into the evening (10:00 pm). And they often mask them to look like they are local calls. You are indeed lucky that it is a rarity for you and I thank you for informing others. Peace.

YES, tone can definitely be conveyed in written word and yours was definitely arrogant and condescending and insulting to the OP.
